AEP 75-ohm connectors are similar in design to SMB series (snap-on mating) and SMC series (screw-on mating), although body size is about one-third larger. Mini-75 ohm SMB types are also available for dense packaging requirements.

They are ideal for use as replacements for type F connectors in systems that need better electrical and mechanical performance or the convenience of snap-on mating and unmating.
